Emma SellsThis season’s Copenhagen Fashion Week was a heady celebration of creativity, innovation and inspiration with, as ever, a strong focus on sustainability. These are our Calendar highlights, from the conscious minimalism of Skall Studio to the life affirming, crowd-pleasing joy of Ganni and the new and spuer-sexy, zero-waste silhouettes from Jade Cropper. SKALL STUDIO:
Inspired by the lo-fi lifestyle of Linda and Paul McCartney, the collection starred standout wardrobe classics, from coats made from recycled or responsibly sourced wool to recycled flannel separates.

GANNI:
Channelling the infectious and inspiring power and confidence of 90s musicians like Bjork and PJ Harvey, Ganni’s grunge-meets-glamour-fuelled AW22 collection was its most responsible yet.

JADE CROPPER:
Unabashedly sexy, noughties-inspired silhouettes conjured exclusively from waste and recycled fabric by the buzzy young designer championed by Kim Kardashian.

THE GARMENT:
The debut runway show from the fledgling label was a masculine-meets-feminine affair with flawless, streamlined silhouettes and an easy, effortless air.

(DI)VISION:
With a futuristic, alien-inspired theme and an innovative approach to creating clothes, (DI)VISION offered up relaxed, streetwear silhouettes pieces together from upcycled and deadstock fabrics.

ISO.POETISM BY TOBIAS BIRK NIELSEN:
Thanks to the use innovative recycled fabrics and dying techniques with minimal water use, this collection earned Birk Nielsen the Zalando Sustainability Prize.

FASSBENDER:
From tailoring to figure-skimming stretch dresses, this was a grounded, wearable collection of contemporary, wear-forever shapes in irresistible shades.
